My Friend's House Childcare is family-owned and operated in Pacific, WA for over 30 years. Since our childcare was licensed and opened its doors in 1988, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other family home child cares may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.
Our mission statement is to provide learning opportunities for children in their early years, which stimulates physical, mental, emotional, and social development. To do this, we maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, learning environment, which is rich in a wide variety of activities. We also focus on establishing positive and productive relationships with families, using an open communication policy at all times. We believe in teaching children through example by being a loving, nurturing, and caring provider and teacher; and believe children learn best in this supportive environment.
The licensed provider, Caren Barnes, is part of the Washington States Early Achievers program and is now a level 3. Also to add to this accomplishment, she has completed an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development/Education and a BA degree in Elementary Education. She offers professional preschool for children 2-5 yrs old. As a family home childcare, she provides a very nurturing, educational environment, with a focus on seeing your child develop to his or her full potential.
